As we have said time and again, no job is too small or project too big for the Cedar Tree Care team. So keep on reading to find out how the Cedar Unimog could assist you or your business.

What is it?

Produced by Mercedes the all terrain, all weather, all task Unimog series is a line of robust  vehicles made for extreme usage. The Cedar Unimog is the AG U1700 model and is well suited for any land, site or field clearance works. With the ability to transport up to 5200 kilos at a time and the addition of flat bed tipper back for the quick disposal of materials the vehicle makes for a superb addition to Cedar’s fleet.

What Can It Be Used For?

Being the all embracing arboricultural team that we are our Cedar Unimog is built for just about any job. We offer land clearance services to the construction industry which involves the removal of trees and vegetation from a site by our expert team to then be transported away using the Cedar Unimog. All whilst working within the remits of any planning constraints set by clients or councils. But it isn’t just large scale private developments our Unimog is capable of clearing, we also work with a number of councils removing overgrown or decaying trees from streets, roads or parks that could prove to be a danger. Essentially any large scale job that needs completing and that is too big to undertake using our smaller vehicles is when we roll her out.

What Is Land Clearing?

The term land (or site) clearing covers a number of different works that can be carried out by our team. The act of land clearing involves the complete removal of trees, stumps, shrubberies, hedges, bushes, earth or vegetation. It can also cover the removal of other unwanted debris from land. Land clearance is usually done in preparation of building or infrastructure works beginning leaving a clean, safe and empty space ready for development to start. However, other reasons could include for ground investigation, soil testing and site access. Like any arboricultural service the act of land clearing needs to be thoroughly planned prior to work commencing. Factors such as environment, legal requirements like tree preservation orders and health and safety legislation can all hinder the process and therefore the relevant enquiries need to be made prior to any land or site clearance working beginning.

Tell me again, what does land clearing cover?
